Room for Rent is when an apartment or home is rented per room. Common spaces are shared and utilities are split. Room for Rent is similiar to sharing a space in a dorm or campus housing. We only offer this option based on availability and to College of Charleston and MUSC students.  

All renters require 1 months' rent for a deposit. One room rentals are1-year leases. 

Each Tenant and parent guarantor (where applicable) are required to submit an application (click here to fill out an online application), including a $40 fee, and are subject to a credit and/or background check. Once approved, a security deposit equal to one month’s rent is required to secure your lease and at least a year-long lease commitment is expected.

Yes, all applicants have a background check run prior to lease approval. All tenants for Room to Rent must be a student at  the College of Charleston or MUSC.

Depending on availability, Room to Rent range from $975 - $1000 per month, plus utilities. 

Currently we have 3 locations that are available to rent as a room with shared common space. All 3 are downtown, walking distance to College of Charleston. Please call for availability. Rooms rent out quickly.
